Super Bowl XLVI
January 31, 2012 – 5:39 pmEven though the Saints are not a part of the Super Bowl this year, there are still plenty of reasons to check out the big game! The pageantry and excitement of the Super Bowl are second to none, and even if you don’t have a rooting interest for either team, there promises to be exciting football played!
There are a myriad of story lines for this game:
- Can Eli Manning step out of his brother’s shadow?
- Can Tom Brady take his seat among the greats with a fourth Super Bowl ring?
- Can the Patriots get their revenge against the Giants in this Super Bowl rematch?
- Can the Giants prove all the doubters wrong with a decisive victory?
Whatever the angle, the game should be great fun to watch. And even if your interest in the game is only fleeting, the Super Bowl has the greatest commercials of any event all year!
The Super Bowl is slated to be located in New Orleans for 2013. Maybe that year we’ll be in that number!
