Ugh the prior reviews are outdated clearly, please do not let them run you away from an amazing community and home. Yes I'm a resident but goodness, the staff is AMAZING! LIKE HONESTLY! For me to post, you know its real lol lol lol. My daughter loves it here as well do I. We're close to literally like everything you can dream of from this location, very quiet. Walls are not thin. And if you get a pool view you're surely winning , I know I am. I love my new home. Very ideal and practical for any size family, single parents, newly weds list goes on truly. I've gotten to greet all of my neighbors love them all, very welcoming and friendly. The the fact you need a key to get on the property via walking or car is a major plus very secure very quiet lovely grounds,... no I wasn't asked t write this review nor paid. Its my true input. Bug free home, maintenance is speedy like truly.

I have lived here for over 6 years and had a great experience overall. Management and maintenance have been good and responsive. Management and maintenance have switched hands over the years, but 1st Lake Properties has been selective enough with their employees that I haven't had a problem with any of them. The location is good; 24hr CVS on the corner and easy access to Veteran's Blvd and the interstate. The neighborhood is good in the immediate vicinity, but there are some shady parts a few blocks away. Many years ago, the grounds used to be two separate apartment complexes, and the western apartments feel more dated than the stuff near the leasing office. The prices are reasonable for the area, and they don't resort to sketchy fees. Expect a steady, but fair, climb in rent at each lease renewal. Biggest negative: the walls and floors are too thin and you *will* hear your neighbors.

Lived for over a year and really liked it, made friends with my neighbors and the Boardwalk staff was amazing. Had to move to get the school district that I wanted for my son, it was the only reason that made me move. I got my deposit back too. They are great!

I had my money order in my hand ready to go to a different apartment complex. My sister told me to stop by the Boardwalk first to see how it is.The lady in the rental office was so nice and friendly. I asked if they had a studio apartment to show and the answer was yes. The lady in the rental office was so nice and friendly. I took one look at the apartment and I said "Let's get start it on the paper work, I want it". It's soooooo spacious. Not only does the STUDIO have central air, but it also have a washer and dryer!! And those two things were very inportant for me to have. Iv'e been at the apartment for a month now and I could not be happier with my choice. 5 star from me!!

I have lived at Boardwalk a little over 4 years. It has been a peaceful residence so far. I rarely hear or see my neighbors. And I think it's in an excellent location. I can get to Target, Rouses, Whole Foods and the mall within 5 minutes. The current Property Manager (Colleen) is the best the property has had in my time there. If I need anything, she is more than willing to help.

Residing at the Boardwalk Apartments has been wonderful. The amentites they offer are good as well. For a family always on the go you can depend on the office manager to handle just about all your apartment needs.

I moved here in May of this year not knowing anything about the apartments much less new orleans. I took a gamble and signed a leasse because i needed a place to stay immeditately. They had friendly staff and the rent was decent so it was a good start to my gamble. SInce May i can honestly say my gamble paid off. Apartments are clean, safe and quiet. No problems at all. not knowing anything about the are i was surprise to find that i was close to everrthing i needed.........food, mall, bars, grocery stores etc..... Its worth a look.

We have been living here for 2 years and have just signed a year lease. We work in New Orleans a week and then go home to Mississippi a week. The studio apartment is perfect for us. It is quiet , in a safe neighborhood and the manager and staff are great. Our maintenance request are answered promptly and to our satisfaction.
