How do I apply for an Apartment? Simply fill out and sign our Apartment Application and Rental Policy. Return these forms to the Leasing office with your application fee and deposit. What criteria must I meet to rent an apartment? Our rental criteria can be found on our Rental Policy. 1st Lake Properties uses SafeRent.com to screen all of our applicants. What lease terms do you offer? Our standard lease term is twelve months; however, flexible lease terms are available. Some additional fees may apply. Do you offer corporate apartments, and what is included? Most of our properties will accommodate corporate apartments. A corporate apartment includes furniture, paid utilities, cable, & houseware. Visit the Corporate Extended Stay section of this site for more information. What are your pet policies? Depending on the community you choose, we will accept pets up to 60 lbs. with additional fees. No aggressive breeds will be allowed such as pit bulls etc. Do your properties have access gates? Most of our properties have access gates. Are your properties close to shopping
malls, restaurants, grocery stores, fitness centers, entertainment
venues and public transportation? All of our properties are within minutes, or walking distance, to all of your major shopping, recreational and transportation needs. How do I get my utilities turned on? Your leasing agent will be happy to provide you with any information needed to connect your utilities. Visit the Useful Links section of this site to get a headstart. Do your apartments have washers and dryers? Most of our apartment homes offer full-sized or compact washers and dryers. Our communities which do not offer this amenity provide fully equipped clothes care centers. Do you allow DirectTV© or satellite? We allow the use of DirectTV© and satellite TV with written permission from the leasing office. What time of the day may I move in to my new apartment? You are required to sign your lease during normal business hours. Once your lease has been signed, you may move in to your new home at your convenience. |
